How can I quickly check if my phone supports eSIM?
Want to know if your phone is compatible with the convenient eSIM service? You can quickly check using the following two simple methods.
Method 1: Use dialing codes to look up (the most accurate method)
This method works for the vast majority of smartphones, whether iPhone or Android.
-
Open the " Phone " app on your phone and access the dial pad.
-
Enter code
*#06#. -
The phone will immediately display the device's identification information. Please check carefully whether the " EID " number is displayed on the screen.
If your screen shows An EID (Embedded Identity Document) number indicates that your phone's hardware supports eSIM functionality . The EID is a unique identifier for the eSIM chip, much like its identity card.

Method 2: Find it in the phone's settings menu
You can also find the option to add an eSIM directly in your phone's settings menu.
If you are an Apple iPhone user:
-
Open " Settings ".
-
Select " Mobile Services " (or "Mobile Network").
-
On this page, look for options such as " Add eSIM " or " Add a mobile plan ". If you see these options, your iPhone supports eSIM.
If you are an Android phone user:
While the setup interfaces for different brands (such as Samsung, Google Pixel, Sony, etc.) may vary slightly, the general paths are similar.
-
Open " Settings ".
-
Access the relevant options under " Network & Internet " or " Connect ".
-
Select " SIM Card " or " Mobile Network " to manage.
-
Look for options such as " Add eSIM ," " Download SIM card ," or a QR code scan icon. If you find these, your phone supports eSIM.
